The Nelson Fine Art Center in downtown Johnson City was packed Friday night for the 14th annual 'Art from the Buffalo School' exhibit. This exhibit allows all art students from varying mediums to display their works from previous semesters to the community. It also allows students to  appreciate different mediums of art they may not have experienced yet.

For freshman Jamie Hinkle, this was her first experience having her photography displayed in the Art from the Buffalo School gallery.

“I’m very excited about it. It is a great opportunity to see the art works of other Milligan Students,” Hinkle said.

This gallery also helps draw in interest to Milligan College and its art programs.

Tim Hartman, an actor, storyteller, artist and Milligan alumnus also had a display in the middle of the floor that featured his political cartoons. Hartman was present all evening to meet with the surrounding community.

The Art from the Buffalo School exhibit will be displayed the entire month of February.
