Jim Dahlman
Faculty Advisor
I’ve been advising the Stampede and teaching journalism, writing and other communications courses at Milligan since 1999. I’m a Milligan alum (class of ’80, just after dinosaurs roamed the earth). Former magazine editor and newspaper columnist, soccer player (ret.), runner, hiker, dad of two grown daughters, and chief steward for two cats, Bogart and Sam.

I am a communications major with a double concentration in journalism and film. One of my dreams is to travel the world and report news with a cup of coffee (or two) in hand. I have interned for WJHL-TV and worked for The Stampede as a graphic designer. In my free time I love to run, munch on sweet potato anything, sip lattes with friends and watch indie films.

I'm a sophomore double majoring in Journalism and Computer Information Systems. I have been interested in local television news since at least the age of three. I haved reported for the Stampede for three semesters, and I previously served as producer of StampedeTV. I also manage WUMC, the campus radio station, and I run live sound and produce videos at my church.

I'm a double major in Graphic Design and Business Administration-Marketing. I am also on the Women's Golf Team here at Milligan.

I am a Junior and I'm majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Legal Studies and Political Science. I love to read, watch Netflix, write love stories, eat all the time, travel around the world, and plan my dream wedding. I love God, family, and friends. Oh, and I'm pretty cool.

I'm a senior majoring in PR and Advertising. I love cookies, superhero movies, and anything that smells like Christmas.
I'm a freshman Communications major with a concentration in Multimedia Journalism and a minors in Spanish and Intercultural Studies. My hobbies include bursting into random song/dance, drinking tea, traveling the world, and writing stuff. Someday I'm going to rock at the ukelele, and it'll be awesome.

I am a transfer senior from Johnson City, TN. I am a photography major and digital media minor. My favorites things are being outside, netflix, and my dog. Outside of Milligan, I am an avid equestrian. Right now I have no plans after leaving Milligan.

I'm a senior communications major with an emphasis in digital media, and a business administration minor. I love hip-hop culture, and want to apply my degree in the music industry. I love writing and performing music, especially rap. Apart from my love of music, I simply love living life with my friends.

I’m a junior transfer Communications major with a Mission’s minor. My life goal is to become a Disney princess, but I’ve been told that’s not likely so I’m becoming a missionary. The great loves of my life are Chaco’s, reading, superhero movies, and adventures. I like a little coffee with my cream and sugar. You can usually find me hanging in my ENO, watching Netflix, or trying not to get sunburnt.

I’m a senior Communications major with a concentration in Digital Media, which means you’ll typically find me behind a camera or editing at a computer. I'm just trying to live every week like it's Shark Week.
I am a freshman Accounting major and Communications minor. I am a pitcher on the baseball team here at Milligan, and a Young Life Leader at University High School. In my free time I enjoy consuming coffee, binge watching The Office and spending time with family and friends.

I am a junior transfer student from Denver, Colorado. I play on the softball team here at Milligan and am a Digital Media major. I love coffee, skiing, hiking, and taking pictures outside. I want to go go graduate school to become a technical writer (which is exactly as nerdy as it sounds).
