With finals just around the corner, motivation has never been more difficult to find. In lieu of that, here are some procrastination tips that will hold you over until the frantic all-nighters begin.
1. Start that new show on Netflix you’ve been meaning to watch for months.

2. When was the last time you cleaned your room? Did laundry? Made the bed? Better get on that. Obviously you can’t focus in a messy environment. (If you’re a neat person, clean a friend’s room.)

10. Go for a hike. Conveniently lose track of time.

3. Ever heard of “adult” coloring books? You’re welcome.

4. Reorganize all your computer files. Now you’ll be able to find what you’re supposed to be working on faster. So in the long run, it’s actually saving you time! (Bonus points if you do it alphabetically.)

5. Go for a run, hit the gym or pick another workout of your choice. You may even score higher on your next exam. Don’t be afraid to take a break and participate in some type of physical activity.

6. Call your mom, she’ll definitely be willing to distract you for a few hours.

7. Spend some time reading a book of your choice. Reading “for fun” = instant mood booster.

8. Find a random skill on the internet and master it. Need help choosing your next activity? Try yoga, origami or watercolor painting. You could even begin to learn a new language.

9. Watch cat/animal videos on YouTube. Why not?
