The month of April means exciting things for Milligan students such as beautiful weather, the last month of classes and the anticipation of summer break. It is also an exciting time for future Buffs because of Connections weekend!
This past weekend (April 22-23) 84 incoming freshmen (and transfers) attended Connections. They were given the opportunity to tour the campus and dorms, eat in the caf, attend a special Vespers session and learn more about college life.
Connections is a great time for incoming students to see campus for the first time, meet professors and peer mentors and make new friends. Parents are also welcome to accompany their student and adjust to the process of sending them off to college.
“My peer mentors had such an influence on me when I came to Connections,” sophomore and peer mentor Taylor Martin said. “It’s cool to be able to return that favor to incoming students. It’s just a reminder of how cool of a place Milligan is.”
