Volleyball Senior Night

   On Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2014, our Lady Buffs volleyball team had their last official home game of the season against Midway College. This was a big game because not only was it their senior night, but it was also the game that would determine if they would stay in third place in the Appalachian Athletic Conference.

     Filled with many emotions, the Lady Buffs started the game with an eight-point deficit, but after a motivational timeout the Lady Buffs came back to win the first set 25-20.

     Much like the first set, the Lady Buffs were down by a huge deficit and once again rallied back to win the set with a score of 25-23. The Lady Buffs held this momentum all the way through the third set, winning with a score of 25-18.

     The game was a great win for the Lady Buffs, and an even better win for the seniors Kaitlyn Round, Kayla Moore, and Kimberly Dougherty in their last home game.

     With the win, the Lady Buffs reamain tied for third place in the AAC. Their next game will be on Nov. 1, 2014 and they will be playing two non-conference games against Midway College and the University of the Cumberlands.
